The Story of L Gann Designs
For nearly two decades, my life was devoted to others. I married young, became a mother at 21, and by 23, I was navigating life as a single parent. In my late 30s, I found love again, blending my life with my new husband’s children and welcoming my son’s friend into our home when he needed one. My world was filled with love and care for my family—but somewhere along the way, I lost myself.
As my children grew and prepared to step into their own lives, I realized I didn’t know who I was beyond being a mother, a wife, a provider. I had spent so many years putting others first that I had forgotten what made me happy. The dreams I had when I was younger—of being part of the fashion world, of creating something beautiful—felt like distant echoes of a person I no longer recognized.
Then, during one of my lowest moments, I stumbled upon polymer clay. It wasn’t planned. I was aimlessly scrolling, looking for a distraction, when I found a simple clay starter kit. Something told me to buy it. Maybe it was curiosity. Maybe it was a desperate attempt to feel something again. I had no idea that small, impulsive purchase would change everything.
As I shaped and molded the clay, something inside me shifted. Creating wasn’t just an escape—it was a way back to myself. Each piece I made reminded me that I was still here, that I was capable of beauty, artistry, and expression. L Gann Designs was born from that moment—not just as a jewelry brand, but as a testament to the power of rediscovery.
My designs are more than accessories; they are symbols of resilience, transformation, and the journey to reclaiming yourself. They are for the women who have spent their lives giving to others, who are now learning to give back to themselves.
